Drinking water can promote intestinal movement and prevent constipation. Drinking water before breakfast can speed up gastrointestinal function. Warm water has a temperature similar to the human body, so it won't irritate the stomach wall. Doctors recommend drinking one to two glasses of water on an empty stomach every morning.

Tip 2 Drink 64 ounces of water a day.

Water is essential to the body, but many people don't drink enough. Drinking enough water promotes intestinal health and prevents constipation.
